The music industry’s biggest and brightest stars stepped out in Los Angeles last night for the 60th Grammy Awards. 2017 was a competitive year for music. From breakout stars like SZA debuting her album CTRL to Jay-Z’s 13th studio album 4:44, and Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN., fans were ready to settle the debates over who had the best releases of 2017.
Kendrick Lamar got the night started with a powerful opening performance addressing recent tensions throughout the country.

It was a night full of joy and togetherness as artists like Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s performed their global hit Despacito, and Logic put on his touching tribute to cap off the night with his song 1-800-273-8255.

Some big winners emerged last night, including Bruno Mars, who walked away with six total Grammys, including Album of the Year for 24k Magic and Kendrick Lamar right behind him securing five Grammy wins, one of which included Best Rap Album.
But of course, did it really happen if Twitter didn’t put their two cents in? Some people were highly upset that they had to listen to Despacito way too much in 2017 already, and it didn’t even win an award.
Despacito not winning ‘record of the year’ or ‘song of the year’ doesn’t make sense whatsoever. pic.twitter.com/6lwE1twWwS

despacito did not spend 16 weeks at #1, get certified diamond, get streamed over 8 billion times and break language barriers to get snubbed. that did not just happen

DESPACITO DID NOT PLAY EVERY FIVE FUCKING MINUTES FOR THIS SHIT

See what I mean?
Listen, I'm as exhausted as anyone of hearing Despacito but that's straight up bull shit #Grammys
