It’s SXSW season! Since there’s only three days left until the start of it all, here’s our list of top 3 events to attend.
1. Former Vice President Joe Biden
Probably one of the coolest guys in Washington, D.C., Joe Biden, will be at this year’s SXSW. After hosting former President Barack Obama in 2016, it only makes sense to bring in another influential figure in politics. A man that has pretty much become a “bro” via internet memes, Mr. Biden has resonated with many people because of his charisma.
As part of the Connect to End Cancer series, Vice President Biden will bring more awareness as well as how those in the technology and creative fields can come up with ways to help fight this disease. This topic hits home for the former Vice President, as his son, Beau Biden, passed away form brain cancer in May of 2015.
We’re excited to, hopefully, be in the same room as someone as dignified as Mr. Biden and hope everyone else is too! If you’re wondering when and where to go, it’ll be in the Austin Convention Center on Sunday, March 12th at 3:30 PM.
2. Bill Nye: Science Guy
Everyone’s favorite scientist is making an appearance at SXSW! Remember sitting at your desk in middle school on a boring day when all of a sudden you see your science teacher roll in the TV on the cart? You know what that means…BILL NYE TIME!
Your childhood favorite scientist will be at the world premiere of Bill Nye: Science Guy. The documentary is aimed at reviving science in the world and proving that it matters. It’ll be interesting to see how Mr. Nye can transition from a children’s show to a more serious side of the science community.

3. Gary Vaynerchuk #AskGaryVee
There are so many different events to attend at SXSW, so it’s tough to prioritize what we want to experience. But, when we were scrolling through the official schedule, one name stood out- Gary Vaynerchuk.
The man, the myth, the legend himself will be attending SXSW once again. You never know what kind of knowledge or wisdom – or even insults – he’s going to drop, and that’s the beauty of it. This mastermind keeps you on your toes at all times and that blends in perfectly with the atmosphere throughout the week of SXSW.
Gary will be hosting a Live Q&A as part of his #AskGaryVee segment on March 10th at 12:30PM at the Austin Convention Center. For more information, check out the official schedule.
