Intel Provides Drone for Aaron Gordon in 2017 NBA All-Star Dunk Content

The NBA Slam Dunk contest has taken some heat the last several years for a number of reasons. After it’s “revival” in 2016, it seems that the goal this year was to get the momentum going.

This year, Intel teamed up with Orlando Magic’s Aaron Gordon to help potentially take the contest to new heightsAs we saw Super Bowl 51, Intel is pushing all boundaries with its drone technology. This time around, the company provided a customized drone with a mechanical claw attached to it. As the drone rose from the rafters, fans were mesmerized when they realized that it was carrying a basketball.  Once everything came together, fans were presented with the first ever drone prop in NBA Slam Dunk Contest history.
