Here’s a Virtual Rendition of the Insane Apple Park Campus

In case you didn’t know, they’re pretty much building a giant spaceship in Cupertino, California. Steve Jobs announced the ideas for this campus way back in 2006, and it is now set to open to employees this month.

Thanks to YouTuber Alex Westerlund, we now have a virtual rendition of the completed project using Minecraft.

It features everything from a transportation hub, a Steve Jobs theatre, numerous cafés and fitness centers. Apple seems to be looking to keep their employees around the campus to make it feel like a second home.

What feels like a modern day version of Legos, Minecraft has opened up another world full of infinite possibilities for creators everywhere. Designers can use it to bring blueprints to life and to create more life-like ideas of what people can expect. Alex mentioned that it took him 413 hours (!!!) of staring at a computer screen since December of 2015.

“I made it my goal to finish my version before Apple finished theirs, and I think I succeeded,” said Westerlund.”

On a scale of 1-10, what did you think about this rendition of the Apple Park?
